Chennai Petroleum Corporation climbs on raising Rs 1145 crore on private placement basis

Chennai Petroleum Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 104.55, up by 3.60 points or 3.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 100.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 104.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 106.70 and Rs. 100.50 respectively. So far 12818 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 278.40 on 01-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 98.15 on 28-Feb-2020.

Chennai Petroleum Corporation has issued and allotted 11450 Unsecured, Listed, Rated, Senior, Redeemable, Non-Cumulative, Taxable, Non-Convertible, Bonds in the Nature of Debentures (Series I -2020) of Rs 10,00,000 each aggregating to Rs 1,145,00,00,000 on Private Placement Basis to meet the funding of CAPEX and financing of normal business activities.
