Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Tuesday due to buyer resistance in the market and as rising corona virus cases outside China raised concerns over demand for the commodity. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 134.50/kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to 128/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 128.50/ kg.
In the futures market, March delivery lost to Rs 133.25 compared to its previous closing of Rs 133.30, while April delivery was at Rs 136.45 compared to its previous close of Rs 136.32 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
