HFCL has informed that the Company has received the Purchase Order (PO) worth Rs 196 crores from Larsen & Toubro, PB No. 979, Mount - Poonamallee Road, Manapakkam, Chennai - 600 089, Tamilnadu (L&T) for supply of Optical Fibre Cables (OFC) for construction of Telangana Fiber Grid (T-Fiber) by them under Bharat Net Phase-II Programme of the Government of India, in the State of Telangana. BharatNet Programme forms one of the Key Pillars of Digital India Program. It is a project of national importance, envisage to connect & provide broadband connectivity at around 2,50,500 Gram Panchayats in the Country. The details as required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with SEBI Circular No. CIR/CFD/CMD4/2015 dated 9th September, 2015, are as enclosed.
