Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 19,40,551.91 crore on March 4 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 2,88,96,842.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 38,479.76 crore, Stock Futures Rs 56,910.64 crore and Index Options Rs 17,99,534.05 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 45,627.46 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.86, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.86 and that of Stock Options was 0.62.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on Cummins India (1.81), Oil India (1.71), Just Dial (1.50), Siemens (1.37) and Piramal Enterprises (1.21).
Among most active underlying, State Bank Of India witnessed an addition of 7.23 million units of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing an addition of 1.04 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Hdfc Bank witnessed an addition of 4.12 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Icici Bank witnessed an addition of 5.18 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract and Bajaj Finance witnessed an addition of 0.76 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract (Provisional).
