Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 8,44,568.72 crore on March 6 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,22,86,658.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 38,643.19 crore, Stock Futures Rs 51,013.16 crore and Index Options Rs 7,05,078.81 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 49,833.56 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.69, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.70 and that of Stock Options was 0.62.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on Cummins India (1.62), Oil India (1.54), Mahindra & Mahindra Fin. Services (1.33), Just Dial (1.26) and Siemens (1.18).
Among most active underlying, State Bank Of India witnessed an addition of 7.05 million units of Open Interest in the February month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing an addition of 2.45 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 9.44 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract, Bajaj Finance witnessed an addition of 0.32 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract and HDFC Bank witnessed an addition of 1.73 million units of Open Interest in the February month future contract (Provisional).
