Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 26,32,978.45 crore on March 12 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 4,43,43,344.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 60,762.91 crore, Stock Futures Rs 65,689.42 crore and Index Options Rs 24,53,327.42 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 53,198.70 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.75, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.76 and that of Stock Options was 0.65.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on Cummins India (1.49), Mahindra & Mahindra Fin. Services (1.18), Interglobe Aviation (1.09), Just Dial (1.05) and Siemens (1.02).
Among most active underlying, State Bank Of India witnessed a contraction of 18,72,000 million units of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing a contraction of 5,33,000 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 79,02,125 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Hdfc Bank witnessed an addition of 33,34,000 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract and Bajaj Finance witnessed an addition of 4,14,750 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract (Provisional).
