Tata Steel surges on raising Rs 670 crore via NCDs

Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 295.00, up by 8.20 points or 2.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 286.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 272.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 300.00 and Rs. 252.20 respectively. So far 659163 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 560.35 on 02-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 252.20 on 13-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 338.00 and Rs. 252.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 35906.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 44.81% and 21.04% respectively.

Tata Steel has raised funds aggregating to Rs 670 crore through allotment of 6,700 Unsecured, Redeemable, Listed, Rated Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) at face value of Rs 10,00,000 each on private placement basis. The NCDs are proposed to be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market (WDM) Segment of BSE. The Committee of Directors at their meeting held on March 13, 2020 has approved the allotment of the same.
