Telecom stocks are trading higher in the volatile markets on report that Cabinet has cleared some relief measures for Telecom sector.

Vodafone Idea is currently trading at Rs. 5.36, up by 1.16 points or 27.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 4.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 3.86 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5.65 and Rs. 3.78 respectively. So far 34316737 shares were traded on the counter.

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 483.40, up by 18.45 points or 3.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 464.95 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 432.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 511.40 and Rs. 419.00 respectively. So far 232740 shares were traded on the counter.
