Bharti Airtel zooms as CRISIL assigns ‘GVC Level 1’ rating to company

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 483.90, up by 21.85 points or 4.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 464.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 432.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 511.40 and Rs. 419.00 respectively. So far 383096 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 568.60 on 17-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 292.15 on 28-Mar-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 514.90 and Rs. 419.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 261430.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.54% and 6.71% respectively.

Credit rating agency -- CRISIL has assigned its ‘GVC Level 1' rating to Bharti Airtel. The rating indicates that the Company's capability with respect to corporate governance and value creation for all its stakeholders, is the 'Highest'.
