Hindustan Unilever’s (HUL) board is going to meet on April 1 to declare that the merger with GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH) will be effective from that day. HUL and GSKCH have received approval from the Mumbai and Chandigarh bench of the National Company Law Tribunal, respectively for the merger.
HUL is India’s largest Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company with a heritage of over 80 years in India and touches the lives of nine out of ten Indian households.
