Vodafone Idea trades higher on the BSE

Vodafone Idea is currently trading at Rs. 3.23, up by 0.07 points or 2.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 3.16 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3.26 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3.39 and Rs. 3.03 respectively. So far 8890097 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 20.45 on 29-Mar-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.61 on 15-Nov-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 6.75 and Rs. 2.91 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9080.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.05%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.30% and 7.65% respectively.

Vodafone Idea has paid a further amount of Rs 3,354 crore to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), being the balance part of the principal amount towards AGR liability. Thus the Company has paid the full principal amount of Rs 6,854 crores towards the AGR dues.

The Company had filed its self-assessment of the AGR liabilities with the Department of Telecommunications on March 6, 2020, in which AGR liability principal amount of Rs 6,854 crore was determined for the period from FY 2006-07 to FY 2018-19.

The Company had earlier paid a sum of Rs 2,500 crore on February 17, 2020 and a further sum of Rs 1,000 crore on February 20, 2020 towards this liability.
