HPCL commissions first petrol pump in Bhutan

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has commissioned its first petrol pump in Bhutan as it makes a foray into the Himalayan Kingdom. The company has commissioned the said retail outlet in partnership with State Trading Corporation of Bhutan (STBCL), a Government of Bhutan entity.

This is the first of the 22 outlets planned as per the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with STBCL at select high-potential sites in Bhutan.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation operates two major refineries producing a wide variety of petroleum fuels and Specialties. The Company also owns and operates the largest lube refinery in the country producing lube base oils of international standards.
