Bharti Airtel gains on extending validity period of pre-paid connections

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 438.80, up by 9.55 points or 2.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 429.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 438.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 444.60 and Rs. 424.10 respectively. So far 119094 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 568.60 on 17-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 304.78 on 01-Apr-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 494.05 and Rs. 400.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 233497.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.54% and 6.71% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has extended the validity period of more than 8 crore pre-paid connections until April 17, 2020. All these customers will continue to get incoming calls on their Airtel mobile numbers even after the validity of their plan is exhausted. The benefits will be available to users in the next 48 hours.
The company will also credit an additional Rs 10 of talk time in the pre-paid accounts of all these 8 crore customers to enable them to make calls or send SMS and therefore stay connected with their loved ones.
