Mishra Dhatu Nigam (MIDHANI) has recorded highest ever value of production (VOP) worth Rs 985 crore (provisional and unaudited) for the FY20 as compared to Rs 814.83 crore for FY19. This is a growth of 21% over previous FY19.
COVID-19 lockdown has affected the final testing, certification and shipment of materials in the month of March 2020. In spite of this, the company has sustained sales turnover of 711.37 crore (provisional and unaudited) for the FY20 as compared to 710.85 crore for the FY19.
During the FY20, the company has focused more on cost optimization measures including indigenization of various components, increasing outsourcing efforts and rationalisation of manpower.
