Graphite India moves up on starting partial manufacturing operations at Nashik plant

Graphite India is currently trading at Rs. 197.00, up by 9.35 points or 4.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 187.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 197.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 197.00 and Rs. 197.00 respectively. So far 2533 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 473.20 on 18-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 103.00 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 197.00  and Rs. 155.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3848.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.22% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.35% and 20.44% respectively.

Graphite India has started partial manufacturing operations at its graphite electrode plant in Satpur, Nashik, Maharashtra engaging minimum labour/manpower, after obtaining requisite permission from the Government authorities. The Company is taking adequate measures to protect its employees / labourers.

Graphite India is the pioneer in India for manufacture of Graphite Electrodes as well as Carbon and Graphite Speciality products.
