Vodafone Idea shines on paying Rs 1,367 crore towards licence fee, SUC to government

Vodafone Idea is currently trading at Rs. 3.92, up by 0.21 points or 5.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 3.71 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3.83 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4.05 and Rs. 3.72 respectively. So far 27928267 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 17.70 on 24-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.61 on 15-Nov-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4.66 and Rs. 3.61 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11235.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.05%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.30% and 7.65% respectively.

Vodafone Idea has paid about Rs 1,367 crore to the government towards licence fee and spectrum usage charges (SUC) payment for the March 2020 quarter. The company made the payment as no extension in timeline was granted on the dues, after the industry association’s submissions to the DoT.
