HUDCO zooms on getting nod to raise Rs 1,470 crore via bonds

Housing and Urban Development Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 23.80, up by 2.35 points or 10.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 21.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 22.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 24.70 and Rs. 22.00 respectively. So far 306786 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 46.60 on 28-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.05 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 24.70 and Rs. 20.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4774.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.81%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.00% and 7.19% respectively.

Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has received approval from Committee of the Board to raise Rs 1,470 crore through Unsecured, Redeemable, Non-Convertible, Non-Cumulative Taxable Bonds in the nature of debentures face value of Rs 10,00,000 each on private placement basis.

HUDCO finances social housing and residential real estate through primarily lending to State Governments and their agencies, which, in turn, extend the finance to or utilise the finance for the ultimate individual beneficiaries.
