GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals gains on the BSE

GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals is currently trading at Rs. 1376.45, up by 3.75 points or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 1372.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1380.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1385.95 and Rs. 1371.00 respectively. So far 798 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1745.00 on 29-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1046.40 on 13-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1428.25 and Rs. 1356.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 23378.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.67% and 13.33% respectively.

GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals has decided to discontinue the manufacture and supply of Zinetac tablets (150 mg and 300 mg products) manufactured in India and will in due course request cancellation of the marketing authorization(s) associated with Zinetac Tablets (150mg / 300mg). In the coming months, the company will work closely with the regulatory authorities.
