Bharti Airtel reports net loss of Rs 5237 crore in Q4

Bharti Airtel has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2020.

The Company has reported net loss at Rs 6882.90 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 62.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 19.80% at Rs 15088.20 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 12594.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributable to owner of the parent at Rs 5237.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 107.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 15.23% at Rs 23822.10 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 20672.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, the company has reported net loss of Rs 36088.20 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 1869.20 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 9.57% at Rs 54630.30 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 49857.80 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributable to owners of the parent of Rs 32183.20 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 409.50 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 8.30% at Rs 87863.80 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 81126.50 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.
