Physical Rubber prices witness firmness on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed firmness on Thursday due to ongoing supply crunch in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to 122.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 121.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to 118.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 117.50/ kg.

In the futures market, June delivery gained to Rs 121.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 121.36, while July delivery was trading at Rs 125.90 compared to its previous close of Rs 125.83 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
