Physical Rubber prices witness some firmness on Monday

Physical Rubber prices showed some firmness on Monday due to ongoing supply crunch in the market, while higher demand from domestic stockists and bulk buyers too supported rubber prices. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to 123/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 122.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 119/kg.

In the futures market, July delivery gained to Rs 125 compared to its previous close of Rs 124.72 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
