Hindustan Aeronautics gains on raising Rs 2000 crore through Commercial Papers

Hindustan Aeronautics is currently trading at Rs. 716.75, up by 9.90 points or 1.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 706.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 722.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 736.00 and Rs. 711.00 respectively. So far 8619 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 896.35 on 22-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 448.00 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 736.20 and Rs. 627.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 24161.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.76% and 1.26% respectively.

Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has raised Rs 2000 crore through Commercial Papers (CPs), in terms of the guidelines issued by Reserve Bank of India. The allotment date is June 17, 2020, while maturity date will be September 15, 2020.

The above CP is a part of fund based limit of Rs 10,000 crore as approved by the Board in its meeting held on January 21, 2020.

HAL is Bengaluru based Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSU) Company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul, upgrade and servicing of a wide range of products including, aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, avionics, accessories and aerospace structures.
