ABB India surges on entering into partnership with TWL

ABB India is currently trading at Rs. 795.00, up by 10.60 points or 1.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 784.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 790.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 800.80 and Rs. 785.65 respectively. So far 960 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,467.05 on 05-Jul-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 722.45 on 27-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 822.80 and Rs. 782.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16846.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.92% and 10.08% respectively.

ABB India, Titagarh Wagons (TWL) have entered into partnership to design, develop and manufacture propulsion systems for EMU (electric multiple unit) train coaches. A propulsion system is a machine that produces thrust to push an object forward. TWL and ABB India will work together to design, develop and manufacture state of the art three-phase IGBT based propulsion systems for EMU/MEMU coaches which would be manufactured in Titagarh's plant at Uttarpara, Kolkata with certain components being supplied by company.
