Saurashtra Cement jumps on restarting operations at Gujarat

Saurashtra Cement is currently trading at Rs. 42.50, up by 0.75 points or 1.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 41.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 42.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 43.30 and Rs. 41.75 respectively. So far 20069 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 57.35 on 13-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 23.00 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 44.90 and Rs. 40.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 297.06 crore.

Saurashtra Cement (SCL) has restarted the operations of the kiln and all the downstream equipment effective from July 03, 2020. The company had taken annual maintenance shutdown of Kiln and all the downstream equipment situated at Factory Premises at Ranavav (Gujarat) effective from June 05, 2020.
