Credit Suisse (Singapore) has sold 654,540 shares of Vijay Mallya owned United Spirits through open market transaction. The foreign fund house has sold the shares at Rs 1,254.26 per share valuing the transaction at around Rs 82.09 crore.
As of the June quarter, Credit Suisse (Singapore) held 29.57 lakh shares amounting to 2.26% stake in the company.
United Spirits is the largest spirits company in India and a flagship entity of $2 billion UB group. It manufactures wide range of whisky, vodka, rum and other spirits.
