India Steel Works has restarted its operations/manufacturing activities at steel plant situated at Khopoli in a phased manner after obtaining the requisite approvals from the concerned Statutory Authorities.
The management is also assessing the other operating requirements like customer order, cash flow condition, employees attendance, operations etc., and based on its assessment, the management is of the opinion that the operations of the company will be stabilized when normalcy at all level will be attained. The company will continue to ensure health and safety of its workforce while remaining compliant with all the directives of competent authorities issued time to time.
India Steel Industries, previously called Isibars, has been producing bright bars since 1957. In addition to its bright bar plant in Central Mumbai, in 1990 it set up another plant in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai for the manufacture of stainless steel bright bars.
