Aban Offshore has received a letter of award for the deployment of the jack-up rig Deep Driller 3 (owned by the company’s step down subsidiary) offshore Malaysia, from Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd., for a firm period of three years. The estimated revenue from the deployment is about $152.75 million equivalent to Rs 800 crore.
Aban Offshore (formerly Aban Loyd Chiles Offshore) is India’s largest offshore drilling services provider to oil companies, mainly for ONGC. It is a company which provides oil field services for offshore exploration and production of hydrocarbons to the oil industry in India and abroad.
