Amrit Corp has informed that in continuation of letters dated 22.06.2020 and 25.06.2020 regarding Postal Ballot Notice issued to the shareholders of the Company by electronic mode, a copy of which was also given to the Stock Exchange. Pursuant to Section 110 of the Companies Act, 2013, the approval of the shareholders of the Company has been obtained by means of Special Resolutions passed through postal ballot for the following matters: Re-appointment of Sujal Anil Shah as Independent Director for a second term of five consecutive years with effectve from July 7, 2020; and Re-appointment of Ketaki Sood as Independent Director for a second term of five consecutive years with effective from July 7, 2020. The said resolutions have been passed by the shareholders with requisite majority and are deemed to have been passed on July 24, 2020, the last date specified in the remote e-voting.
