Chennai Petroleum Corporation has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2020.

The company has reported net profit of Rs 271.63 crore for the quarter under review as against net loss of Rs 233.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased 53% at Rs 5986.44 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 12738.29 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit at Rs 269.90 crore for the quarter under review as against net loss of Rs 229.31 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 53% at Rs 5986.44 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 12738.29 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
