Physical Rubber prices extend weakness on Saturday

Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Saturday, following weak demand outlook from domestic buyers due to surging corona virus pandemic cases globally. Though, ongoing supply crunch in the market capped the fall. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 130.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 131/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 126.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 127/ kg.

In the futures market, August delivery gained to Rs 129.95 compared to its previous closing of Rs 129.15 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
