Physical Rubber prices extend weakness on Monday

Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Monday due to weak demand from domestic buyers, despite ongoing supply crunch in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 130/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 130.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 126/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 126.50/ kg.

In the futures market, August delivery gained to Rs 130.40 compared to its previous closing of Rs 129.87 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
