Blue Star falls on reporting consolidated net loss of Rs 20 crore in Q1

Blue Star is currently trading at Rs. 497.15, down by 9.30 points or 1.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 506.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 506.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 508.20 and Rs. 490.00 respectively. So far 5245 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 887.00 on 29-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 425.00 on 31-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 510.65 and Rs. 475.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4815.69 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.76%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.74% and 29.49% respectively.

The company has reported net loss of Rs 30.52 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2020 against net profit of Rs 74.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 64.28% at Rs 533.74 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 1494.28 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 19.66 crore for the quarter under review against net profit of Rs 76.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 60.26% at Rs 634.63 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 1,597.11 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
