V-Mart Retail has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2020.
The company has reported a net loss of Rs 33.64 crore for the quarter under review against net profit of Rs 17.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 82.54% at Rs 79.46 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 455.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
