Ramco Cements slips on reporting 40% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

The Ramco Cements is currently trading at Rs. 675.25, down by 3.20 points or 0.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 678.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 709.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 709.80 and Rs. 667.05 respectively. So far 14904 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 883.30 on 27-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 456.50 on 08-Apr-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 718.50 and Rs. 667.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15836.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.66%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.76% and 20.58% respectively.

The Ramco Cements has reported a fall of 42.91% in its net profit at Rs 109.60 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 191.97 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 24.44% at Rs 1,051.90 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 1,392.06 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 39.62% in its net profit attributed to shareholders at Rs 117.25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 194.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 24.34% at Rs 1,056.79 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 1,396.82 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
