Hind Rectifiers tumbles on reporting 93% fall in Q1 net profit

Hind Rectifiers is currently trading at Rs. 152.40, down by 8.00 points or 4.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 160.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 162.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 167.55 and Rs. 152.40 respectively. So far 69007 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 269.95 on 06-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 89.65 on 25-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 167.55 and Rs. 115.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 252.43 crore.

Hind Rectifiers has reported 92.88% fall in its net profit at Rs 0.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 5.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 30.18% at Rs 47.75 crore for Q1FY21 as compared Rs 68.39 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Hind Rectifiers is engaged in developing, designing, manufacturing and marketing Power Semiconductors, Power Electronic Equipments and Railway Transportation Equipments.
