FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 26 data: NSDL

26 Aug 2020 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equity, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5740.27 crore against gross selling of Rs 3986.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1753.67 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1818.26 crore with gross sales of Rs 2858.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1039.91 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5.41 crore against gross selling of Rs 13.07 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 7.66 crore in hybrid segment.
