Standard Chartered Investments and Loans (India) has sold its 4.5% stake in PI Industries amounting to Rs 64.56 crore through an open market transaction on National Stock Exchange (NSE). Pursuant to this stake sale, the institutional investor now holds 2.43% stake in the Gurgoan-based company.
PI Industries is engaged in the business of Agri inputs, Fine Chemicals and (CRAMS) Contract Research and Manufacturing Services), Polymers and Engineering Services. It launched a range of new products in the category of plant nutrients thus further diversifying and enriching our product portfolio. This new category of Water Soluble Fertilizer named PI-NUTRI was launched during second fortnight of June 2008.
