Jubilant FoodWorks rises on looking to scale up smaller sized Dunkin' Donuts outlets

Jubilant FoodWorks is currently trading at Rs. 2116.35, up by 25.35 points or 1.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 2091.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2090.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2163.60 and Rs. 2090.00 respectively. So far 12430 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2215.30 on 27-Aug-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1141.80 on 19-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2215.30 and Rs. 2069.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 28170.11 crore.

Jubilant FoodWorks has piloted a smaller sized kiosk model for the coffee and baked goods chain in the country and is evaluating opportunities to scale up through the new format. Dunkin' Donuts India is using a calibrated pilot to test the new format of restaurants. The company is now evaluating opportunities of growth to build this model. There is continued focus on optimising cost and bringing efficiencies.

For Dunkin' Donuts, the company opened 4 restaurants with a smaller format to pilot and test the effectiveness of the format.  It piloted a low-capex, small kiosk-based model, serving a combination of beverages, donuts and simple food with faster payback due to low rent and smaller format for Dunkin' Donuts.
