Physical Rubber prices witness some weakness on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Tuesday amid weak demand from the tyre-makers. Besides, weak trend at overseas markets due to expectations of higher output following favourable weather conditions in key growing areas of Thailand too dampened investors' sentiment.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 134.50/kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 129/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 130/ kg.
