Syngene International and HiMedia Laboratories have received Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) approval for HiMedia-Syngene COVID-19 antibody test kit, ELISafe 19. The ELISafe 19 antibody test kit has a sensitivity of 100% and specificity of 99%. Earlier, the company had entered into collaboration with HiMedia Laboratories to manufacture and distribute its ELISA kits.
