Physical Rubber prices showed some improvement on Tuesday, despite sluggish demand from tyre makers as the production of automobiles has been severely hit due to the corona virus lockdown. While, the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries has lowered its forecast for global rubber output in 2020 to 13.15 million tons, down 4.9% from the previous year.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 133/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to 128/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 127.50/ kg.
