Cipla, Gayatri Projects and RITES to see some action today

Cipla has received final approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Dimethyl Fumarate DR Capsules 120mg, 240mg and 120mg/240mg Starter Pak from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). The company’s Dimethyl Fumarate DR Caps 120mg, 240mg and 120mg/240mg Starter Pak is AB-rated generic therapeutic equivalent version of Biogen IDEC Inc.’s Tecfidera.

Gayatri Projects has received the Letter of Award (LoA) from the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) on September 23, 2020. The scope of the work is Mine Operator - Hiring of Plant and Mining Machineries for Excavation/raising of ROM by drilling and blasting, transportation of ROM to crushing and/or screening plant to be installed by the Agency, crushing &/or screening of ROM to obtain finished product of 10-40 mm CLO & -10 mm Iron Ore Fines, transport of finished product to specified yards after necessary weighment, cleaning of quarry faces, disposal of sub grade and Over Burden (OB) including associated rejects / spoils / spurious materials to the specified yards, etc.

RITES has been awarded Turnkey contract for construction of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) in replacement of existing level crossings on competition basis from Railway Board amounting to Rs 205.85 crore. An Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be executed between RITES and South Central Railway (SCR) in this regard in due course. This turnkey contract covers construction of 4 nos. of ROBs in replacement of level crossings in Vijaywada division of SCR on Vijaywada-Vishakhapatnam section in the state of Andhra Pradesh. 

Ramco Cements has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government of Tamil Nadu for setting up an Apex Skill Development Centre (ASDC) at Ariyalur for imparting high-end skill training in the Construction and Infrastructure sector. The establishment of this Apex Skill Development Centre would help the rural employable youths in providing high end sector skill development training, engaging with industries and other stake holders to design and development of industry relevant training curriculum, create a pool of qualified and professional trainers and to act as a Centre of Excellence for the sector.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has increased its shareholding in Sampo Rosenlew from 49.14% to upto 74.97%. With this, Sampo would become a subsidiary of the Company. The company has been a shareholder in Sampo Rosenlew since July 2016.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with Maurices, a women’s fashion-apparel retail chain in the US and Canada, to help create a new flexible and scalable IT landscape for the latter. Maurices selected TCS as its digital transformation partner to help build its greenfield IT ecosystem that will optimize more than 200 existing applications and software components in the next 17 months of their transformational journey.

J Kumar Infraprojects has received Letter of Acceptance from MMRDA for External Facade Works for 4 Elevated Stations viz. Aarey, Dindoshi, Kurar and Poisar of line 7 (Andheri East to Dahisar East) of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA worth Rs 49.83 crore and another Letter of Acceptance received from DMRC for External Façade Works of 04 Elevated Stations i.e. Goregaon, Adarsh Nagar, Shastri Nagar & D.N. Nagar of Line 2A on Dahisar (East) to DN Nagar Corridor of Mumbai Metro Rail Project, Mumbai for Rs 41.17crore.
