Gold futures ended lower on Friday, marking lowest finish in two months as stronger dollar weighed on the yellow metal investments. Confusion in US monetary policy has lifted the perceived safe haven dollar.
Gold futures for December delivery fell $10.60, or 0.6%, to settle at $1,866.30 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold down 0.4% to $1,860.16 an ounce.
