Reliance Industries gains as its arm gets subscription amount of Rs 7500 crore from Silver Lake

Reliance Industries is currently trading at Rs. 2223.00, up by 21.30 points or 0.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 2201.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2229.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2238.70 and Rs. 2207.25 respectively. So far 329548 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2368.80 on 16-Sep-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 867.45 on 23-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2336.55 and Rs. 2168.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1501916.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.54% and 11.10% respectively.

Reliance Industries’ (RIL) subsidiary -- Reliance Retail Ventures has received the subscription amount of Rs 7,500 crore from SLP Rainbow Holdings (Silver Lake). Reliance Retail Ventures has allotted equity shares to SLP Rainbow Holdings following which SLP Rainbow Holdings holds 1.75% of the fully diluted equity share capital of Reliance Retail Ventures.
