Defence stocks were trading higher as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has unveiled the new Defence Acquisition Procedure of 2020 (DAP 2020), which will govern the procurement of defence equipment from the capital budget. It will supersede the Defence Procurement Procedure of 2016 from October 1.
Hindustan Aeronautics is currently trading at Rs. 786.00, up by 7.75 points or 1.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 778.25 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 786.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 798.00 and Rs. 782.00 respectively.
