Gold futures ended in green on Tuesday on persistent concerns about the global economy and surging virus infections buoying safe-haven bullion investments. Risk aversion ahead to the first US presidential debate and a weaker dollar also added gains.
Gold futures for December delivery settled up 1.1% at $1,903.20 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold gained 0.9% to $1,896.96 an ounce.
