Jagran Prakashan has informed that the extra ordinary general meeting (EGM) of the shareholders, secured creditors and unsecured creditors of the company were held on October 13, 2012 pursuant to the order dated September 06, 2012 of the Honorable Allahabad High Court for approval of the scheme of arrangement between Jagran Prakashan Ltd and Naidunia Media Ltd and their respective shareholders and creditors under section 391 to 394 read with sections 78, 100 to 104 of the Companies Act, 1956.
The aforesaid scheme was unanimously passed by poll by the shareholders, secured creditors and unsecured creditors.
