Physical rubber prices rule weak on Saturday

Physical rubber prices closed weak on Saturday following sharp declines on the commodity futures.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed weak at Rs 187/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 188/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 179/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 180/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of October delivery declined to Rs 186.30 compared to its previous closing of Rs 190.50, while November delivery closed at Rs 182.65 compared to its previous closing of Rs 185.37 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
