Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has reported the number of loan applications received during the September quarter (Q2FY21) grew by 12% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. During the quarter ended September 30, 2020, individual loan approvals grew by 9% compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the quarter ended September 30, 2020, individual loan disbursements were at 95% of the level in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
