Solar Industries zooms on receiving orders from SCCL

Solar Industries (India) is currently trading at Rs. 1111.00, up by 42.35 points or 3.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 1068.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1125.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1160.00 and Rs. 1103.15 respectively. So far 8626 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1350.00 on 01-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 772.05 on 23-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1160.00 and Rs. 1065.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10116.34 crore.

Solar Industries and its subsidiary Economic Explosives have received orders from Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL) for supply of explosives and initiating systems worth Rs 447 crore, to be delivered over a period of two years.

Solar Industries is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of Explosives and Explosive Accessories in India covering the entire range of products such as Bulk and Cartridge Explosives, Detonators, Detonating Cords, Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate (PETN), and Cast Boosters.
